5 Fashion Reality Shows to Binge Watch in 2020

There’s something about fashion reality shows that just reels you in. And before you know it, the whole day has passed by! Is that really the worst thing to happen to us right now? Just, sit back, enjoy and let it happen! Ever since the very first episode of America’s Next Top Model that I watched as a child, I’ve been hooked on fashion reality competition shows. And if you are here, you probably are too! So I’ve ranked five fashion reality shows for you to watch in 2020. You’re welcome!

5. Styling Hollywood

Styling Hollywood Netflix Fashion Reality Shows

Netflix’s Styling Hollywood is a non-scripted fashion docuseries following celebrity stylist Jason Biden. The show stars Jason and his husband, interior designer Adair Curtis. While the show is largely focused on Jason’s day to day as a stylist to the stars in Los Angeles, it also gives an insight into their relationship, making the show all the more entertaining. It is currently unclear if the show will come back for a second season, with fans of the show awaiting for a confirmation from Netflix. Styling Hollywood makes for a really easy watching experience and definitely deserves a spot on this list!

4. House of DVF

House of DVF Fashion Reality Shows

House of DVF premiered on E! Entertainment back in 2014 and only ran for 2 seasons, leaving fans of the show craving more (myself included!). The show follows fashion designer and icon Diane von Furstenberg on the lookout for a new brand ambassador for her iconic brand DVF. The contestants are put through a series of challenges and only one gets a job working for DVF. For me personally, Diane von Furstenberg is a role model in life. If you don’t know much about her story and attitude towards life, I highly recommend to read her book or watch some of her interviews on Youtube. I’m telling you – the woman is an inspiration! You can find episodes of House of DVF online, but unfortunately they are a bit difficult to come by. However, once you figure it out, it makes for a great binge-watching experience!

3. Next in Fashion

Next in Fashion is Netflix’s take on the iconic reality fashion design competition Project Runway. Released in January 2020, the show has already managed to generate quite of a buzz. With hosts Alexa Chung and Tan France, the show delivers a fresh and entertaining take on Project Runway. Tan and Alexa do a great job making the show funny and engaging . Eighteen designers compete for $250,000 and a chance to debut their collection with the luxury fashion retailer Net-a-Porter. It’s still unclear if the show will return for a second season, but the full first season is available now on Netflix!

It’s a bit difficult to watch the show as it’s not on any of the major streaming platforms, but it’s possible to find the episodes online.
